I reached out to the suppose legitimate business by texting the number displayed on the site. The scammer and I was in contact for a good portion of the day. The scammer seemed to be legitimate by offering a salers contract for the purchase of a puppy. Scammer stated that we would be be able to receive our money back if we were not happy. Sale first gave me multiple payment options to purchase the puppy but was very adamant about using Apple Pay for the purchase. Member stated that he would she a confirmation email with receipt of purchase, update vet shot records and shipping information. Seller did not complete any task. We called the scammer over and over once we send our money thru Apple Pay. He did not answer, instead texted us saying that his wife went to the hospital and that the reason he could not call at the moment. The following day the sales contacted us stating that the process and shipping will be done the following morning. The next morning a person from a logistic shipping company contact me. Already being on edge of just come to the realization of us losing $800. The shipping person that contacted up. Sent an email looking legit. Once it came to use making a payment. The shipping company added a fee of $999 - $1500 for a dog carrier. For the dog to be shipped to our location. Multiple payment options choices were given at the beginning until we started to ask more and more question. Every time we call the shipping company there was only one person working in the pet department at the time. By the name of Thomas. Thomas did not give us the answers the we needed. Shortly after that same person from the shipping company requested us to send our money for the dog carrier using Apple and to send it to an email.
