I saw an ad on Facebook for Hoka sneakers on sale, 2 pais for $99. I clicked on the link and it looks very similar to the official Hoka page. It was not until I had already placed an order that I became suspicious. No one ever sent me a confirmation, so I went to the official Hoka page and there was no trace of a 2 for $99 sale. I went back to the ad and clicked on the link, realizing the url was different. I clicked on Contact Us and there was no physical address or phone number provided, just a hotmail address: [email protected]. I decided to send an email to see if they would respond - I asked if my order had been received and they did respond saying yes. I did some research and found there are multiple Hoka scams out there and this is one of them. So I sent another email saying to cancel my order immediately, that I was having my bank dispute the charge, and that I was reporting them to several authorities, including the FTC. THere has been no response to that. I show a pending charge on my card for the $99 and I have filed a dispute with my bank.
