The scammer advertised HOKA sneakers deal on Instagram. I bought 3 sneakers and never received it. I am disputing the charges with my credit card. The charges were made under THEODUO LEGGINS LLC in the amount of $79.

I also fell for this Facebook Scam Ad. It was an ad that had Discontinued HOKA Tennis Shoes on Clearance for Black Friday. Offering 3 pairs for $79.00. As I searched the official looking website, I chose 3 pairs of shoes and provided my CC info. I did receive a confirmation email for the purchase, and an order number for the shoes. I checked the website a few times and realized the order status continued to say not yet shipped. After a few days of checking the shipment status and looking a bit deeper, I realized that the order status never changed and no further communication from that company. I then noticed that the email address was not a HOKA email address. It gave a reply to email address of: <[email protected]>. I sent an email requesting to be refunded the $79.00 back and advised that I suspected that the site was a scam.</[email protected]>

On Facebook an advertisement for Hoka shoes appeared for a lower than normal price. I admit I was skeptical but ordered anyway. Now I'm out $52.

I attempted to contact the company two times but receiver no answer.

I saw an ad on Facebook for a sale on Hoka shoes. I clicked through. It looked very legitimate. Nothing seemed off. No misspellings or weird things like you see in the warnings about fake web sites. I ordered a pair of shoes on Dec. 17, 2023. I didn't know anything was wrong until I saw a business name I didn't recognize on my credit card: Theoduo Leggins LLC. Googling the company brought me to this site where I saw another person's post about having been scammed by this company. The bank's dispute procedure says to try to see a refund from the company first, so I've emailed the company to ask how to cancel or return an order. I don't expect to hear anything useful back, but then at least I can take this to the bank to try and dispute it. Now I probably should put a freeze on my card and I'll have to go through the hassle of having all the bills that I pay via the card changed to a new card number and all that. I hate these scammers. Never click through from Facebook ads!
