I saw a sponsored ad on Facebook advertising a Hoka sale. I purchased two pairs of shoes for $99 on 03/10/23. I got a confirmation email from a gmail account. I realized I hadn’t purchased from the official Hoka website. I emailed the company via their contact information provided on the website (aka the gmail account) attempting to cancel my order and get a refund. Not surprisingly they did not respond. They sent fake tracking history to PayPal showing that the package was delivered. It was not. I reported it through PayPal and received a refund. I’m sure other people weren’t so lucky. A co-workers mom also purchased through the same scam website.
