I attempted to purchase some Hoka running shoes at a discounted price from an online site which looked legitimate and promised delivery within 15 days. However, once I input tracking information after about 2 weeks and thereafter it indicated item not shipped. So I attempted to call customer service and it was a non-working number and the email address was also bogus. Thus, I went to the official HOKA website and found out that scammers have been mirroring their site to scam people by offering deep discounts and clearance prices.

Ad was on Facebook for Hoka end of year clearance... $45/pair or $79.95/3 pair. Website was very convincing that it was in fact Hoka so I placed order. Received immediate email confirming purchase but the email address was nothing associated with Hoka, it was [email protected]. The website associated with that email is www.https://www.angelaperezz.com/ which is located in CO and distributes an entirely different product line. I immediately contacted my credit card company to report issue and the charge has since been disputed; to be sure there would not be any further purchases, I also had my card stopped & had a new one issued..
