I called Planet Fitness on 4/28/23 to cancel my membership, They told me it would be a 0.95 service fee and took my credit card number. Then while they "verified" my information, I was put on 3 long recorded messages, one of which was for Essentials for Home. The recording 3 times asked "if you wish to enroll, say yes", at which I said no. Today I get this big packet of coupons with an insert saying my card will be charged $36.95 after the 14 day trial period. I called 888-744-0515 to dispute, and was told, "oh it looks like you already called to cancel this". Meanwhile on 4/28/23 my credit card was compromised. Something very fishy here!
