I contacted HollyBoxerPuppies.com to buy a boxer puppy. I was instructed that the puppy would be shipped for free but the fee for the puppy was $500, which was 1/2 off what it usually was because of a special circumstance (the scammers husbands death anniversary). I was offered several photos of the puppies that looked legitimate and were probably stolen from legitimate websites. I was told that the scammer was deaf so I never called them. I couldn't arrange a video call which seemed wierd, but also thought that maybe she was older so I didn't think 2x about it. I wired the money of $550 so that the puppy would be delivered straight to my door. Then the shipping company tried to get me to pay $2k for a shipping crate for the puppy due to special circumstances adn recommendations from the airline. I refused. They said they'd have to contact the breeder. I said fine, then requested my money back and told them I would contact the police or FBI. I then tried to call them and the phone was disconnected. They'd disappeared with my money. I sent the money via Paypal and have since filed a dispute for fraud. I also called the police local to the address they gave me for their operations, and it was a fake address. I haven't received the money back and might not ever.
