Type of a scam Employment
I am a retired graphic Designer looking for a remote job. Capone contacted me through Ziprecruiter.com. (Now, he claims that he has been hacked even though Ziprecruiter has proven that is not the case). Capone used his own sign-in to offer a fake employment through Hollywood Smile Dental using an address that belongs to another Dentist, Dr. Pappas of Grove City Smile. The address is 5775 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH 43123. Capone denies any involvement now that he is confronted with wire fraud scam. He insists that he has been hacked even though I have several digital threads from him to prove that it is his signature.
The scam is to require you to obtain equipment through their fake vendor, Caity Gardner of a1pluscomputers. He emailed a bogus check that requires you to make a mobile deposit instead of going to the issuing bank. He hopes that my bank would clear the check before they have a chance to find out that it is bogus. After the first. transaction they send a second check on the same day to repeat the same procedure.
When my bank discovered the bogus checks, my account was frozen. Unfortunately, the first deposit was cleared and the money was sent to the fake vendor. Knowing that the scam jog up they now asked for a cash deposit instead.
After a thorough investigation, I discovered that Capon has numerous complaints in his LinkedIn profile. His employment history is made up of bogus companies. His current website is fake. I thought I did my due diligence. But I have missed many red flags. As you can find on https://graphicdesignjobscam.org/
I setup that website to warn people about EMPLOYMENT JOB scams. As well as exposing Capone.
Apparently, Capone has a long history of scams going all the way back to New York. I have filed a criminal complaint with the Riverside County Sheriff Dept as well as the FBI ICE3. As many scam files they have I doubt very much anything will come out of this. That is why I created a website to warn the potential job seekers.
The claim Capone is making that he has been hacked is nothing short of a thesis in scatology.
