Received in the mail a free offer certificate from Holsted Jewelers, with a statement of authenticity, for my choice of two rings valued at $60.00 each, for free, a free Wal-Mart card, and surprise gifts. I have a free gift code and instructions to call a number within 48 hrs. to claim my gifts. The phone number is: 1-800-218-7646. I called the number was asked which rings I wanted, and what size. Then, was told they needed my credit card number to pay for shipping and handling. I did not give the info. because I was uncertain if this was a scam. I looked online and can not find a number that matches the above number or area code. Is this a scam,or not?
