Found Holton Cross Homes on a google search. They claimed to have border collie puppies. Paid $750 for it and drove 2.5 hours to Seattle to the address they provided. No one was home and they texted that they were out buying supplies and that I needed to pay another $250 to get the puppy. I refused and asked to see the dog. Then the story changed and they texted that they were at a notary finalizing the contract for the sale and that the previous money had gone to the notary so I needed to send the $250. I refused and asked if this was a scam. They texted back that I should give them some personal information so they could give me a refund. I texted that I didn't want the refund (I suspected it was a ruse to get my banking information). I texted that I drove 2.5 hours, waited an hour at the address they supplied and wanted the puppy. I received no further texts.
