. . . seeing as how I have never shopped at Home Depot, the unsolicited "offer" in this email seemed fraudulent. I "googled" [Home Depot Gift Card Scams] and sure enough, others had also reported it; some people even got victimized because they thought it was legit.
*sigh*
'Tis the season to get ripped off . . .
. . . Unfortunately, these scams are just going to escalate like never before. Sadly, there's a lot of desperate, unhappy people out there this holiday season. It's been a rough year for everyone, and I hate that so many people have suffered; still, I don't want anyone to try and hurt or take advantage of innocent people.
