My husband and I received a "Final Notice" in the mail, referencing our bank as "Lender Info" at the top. Though we have no loan with our bank, I thought this was in reference to an account audit we received a few weeks earlier which (I think!) was from our bank, which I had not yet responded to. I called the 800 number in this "Final Notice" to say "I'll send the info when I have it", but the person was suddenly trying to scare me into buying insurance. That's when I realized this was a phishing scam; I told the person as much, and hung up. I had given out no personal information. The entity does have our names and banking institution, and may even be aware that we are the 'elderly' demographic, considered easily scam-able.
