I hired A.G. Renovation for a basement renovation that included adding a kitchen, installing laminate floors in the laundry room, and painting the entire space. Initially, he requested payment upfront, which I provided. Later, he asked for the final payment upon the installation of the kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately, the cabinets were installed incorrectly, and he left the job unfinished, neglecting to complete the cabinets, backsplash, hood vent, and laminate flooring in the laundry room and paint. In total, I paid him $14,000, with $9,000 sent via e-transfers.
