My parents gave him a deposit of $12000 to renovate three washrooms. After having a horrific experience with the first washroom they decided to suspend the renovation for other two washrooms. The washroom was poorly finished with unfinished installation of Light fixture, external exhaust for fan, pot lights in shower, unfinished closet, paint marks everywhere including mirror, vanity, tiles we can’t get off, baseboard already has cracks and damage less than a month, they also damaged brand new windows and doors, they threw out the vinyl window frame and left huge scratches on brand new external door and damaged storm strip. They also installed the shower door and washroom door the wrong way. There is mould build up on the ceiling now because the fan was not installed to exterior of house. All the door handles and towel handles are crooked. Very poor workmanship. My parents have contacted him numerous times, he promised to come take a look but never contacted us again. Still hasn’t provided us a receipt for the 12000 deposit. We requested a detailed receipt with parts and labour for one washroom which for sure does not equal to $12000 and washroom is still unfinished. Business owner owes us a detailed receipt, balance of deposit and $900 for the damages his team has caused to our windows and external door.
