This guy had seen me in my driveway and got out of his SUV and started talking to me about my driveway block wall and Belgium block, all three did need repair, a house up the street from me just had their driveway, walkway and Belgium block done, he walked me up. There showed me the job said that he did the whole thing. It look like a nice job so I said OK let's do mine. I wrote him a deposit check for $1640 to Mr. G W Cunningham. Guy came back after a few days and started working on my pavers then he said he needed another check for $3000 made out to the same person , they came back did more work a few days later I gave him $10,000 in cash. They put cement over the black wall and then two coats of stucco and started to paint the wall, I later found out that he used interior stucco not exterior stucco also he charged me $5600 for bluestone caps on top of the wall. I later found out that they were limestone, which is half the price of bluestone. He also told me that he would put polymeric sand in between the pavers, the sand hardens when it gets wet and no weeds will grow between the pavers, he put down the cheapest stuff you could get, Mason sand. He wasn't quite finished with the job and he asked me for more money and I told him, we have a contract that is signed by both of us and unfortunately I paid him in full before he was done. I told him I am not giving him any more money and he never showed up again leaving the job unfinished. I forgot to mention that before the job was done, I gave him another $6600 in cash , so this way, the job was paid in full
