We signed contract to replace our roof in jan/22, he came back after & he wanted deposit so we gave him $1500 cash & wanted more after. He kept reneging to do d roof finally in summer we wanted to cancel, tried to get our $1500 back but to no avail til today even after few texts & calls, we even got police to intervene for us but failed. We went to his office addr but it’s a condo bldg. We’ve been lied to scammed & want to report him to warn people of his scam. Pls advise us if this is d right step & what else we can do. Thsnks
