3 guys said they’re from NFLD we’re doing roof across street and said our chimney is going to fill and they can fix it. Their company name Nomoreleaks and Tom said they’re in the area. I asked about my flat roof where I could buy more stones and he said he’d have a look and then said the roof was done wrong and they could slope it and fix it for $1000 and could use leftover plywood from neighbour job to make it cheaper. Without an agreement they Went on flat roof and ripped up big section of the roof and said they can’t estimate quote unless they tear everything up and that looked like a bigger job and estimated $12000 then when I said forget that they kept reducing price down to $6500 and I told them I would call someone for advice. It was expected to rain and they left it untarped and roof leaked. When I called them to ask why they left it like that they said if they tarp it it won’t hold the water and if they repair it I’d have to sign a contract. I also asked why the truck im neighbours driveway had a different name Skylink? And he said that is their sister company and they help each other out. I checked their website and couldn’t find anything and checked barcode but maybe website is fake doesn’t show any reviews. Luckily I refused the work from them but my neighbour spent way too much sounds like.
