Person knocked on our door saying they were doing work in our area and observed that our chimney needed repair. They did an inspection with our approval. One of the three men removed about six of the bricks from the chimney and held one up in the air so we could see it from where we were standing on the sidewalk. They left us with a quote of $12,000 and said this is an unsafe situation that they would prioritize for repair. They left us with an unstable chimney with six bricks removed so that it is now unstable and large space for animals to feet in to our roof.
