Home of Shih Tzu Puppies (website:https://homeofshihtzupuppies.com/) is a the name of the business who are selling purebred shih tzu puppies from Providence Rhode Island. I paid for the puppy and had arranged with the owner Andre Brown and Elise Tania that they would ship the puppy to my home. They told me that they would get the puppy registered and will email me the pup’s itinerary. Everything went okay. Then the Pet courier (Pets Air Relocation Services - website: https://www.petsairrelocationservice.com/) contacted me and said because the puppy is only 9 weeks old that it would need to be in a Thermal Electric Crate instead of a Ventilated Crate. He said there’s a deposit of $1800 which $1700 would be refunded to me when the puppy arrives in cash and $100 will be collected for the rental of the crate. I was not informed of this by the breeder when I initially spoke to him about payments for the puppy. I asked him if he could pay since it was refundable anyway and that I had no problem just paying him the $100 once I receive the puppy. The man from the pet courier said to send it under this name James Morrow using this address - 265 Gano St, Providence, RI 02906 via Zelle, Walmart, or Moneygram. The breeder said he can only come up with 850 and that I would have to pay the other half because he said that is all the money they have. I refused to send it and had asked for a refund. The breeder did talk about cancelling the whole thing and refunding me my money because I refused to send the other half for the rental. So I agreed. I kept texting him telling him to refund my money and he’s never replied back. The weird thing is when I googled the address for the Pet Carrier, it gave me an address of Eastside Veterinary Clinic. Another thing is I also gave them the option of shipping the dog through a locally known airline (United Airlines) to ship the dog and I agreed to pay for the cost for that and the breeder refused so that’s why I’m asking them for a refund of the amount I paid them.
