I was in search of a puppy for my daughter and had been watching a couple web sites for months. I ran across Rottweiler-pups.com and inquired through their site about purchasing a puppy. They responded via email letting me know that the puppy was $500 plus $200 for shipping. My family and myself have experience with online purchases, so I did not thing anything of it. After we agreed to the price, they sent me a contract to sign and return to them. Once returned they asked for payment via cash app. I paid the $700 on 10/9/20 and requested delivery on 10/13/20. On the morning of the 13th they reached out via email to make sure I would be home and to confirm my address for delivery. I was sent an email by a shipping company in order to confirm the address, tracking info, expected delivery, etc. Once I confirmed the information, the shipping company responded and asked that I provide an additional $950 for a climate controlled crate to ship the puppy. It said that it was only for insurance and would be refunded once the puppy was delivered. I reached out to the seller to ask why I was not informed about the additional cost when we first discussed the purchase. I did not agree with giving another $950 only to have it given back to me 5 hours later. They responded that they were not happy about the additional charge but did not have a solution. I let them know that I did not have $950 and if they were not going to send the puppy then I would need a full refund. I have not heard back from them since then.

The web site is still up but the cash app handle has been changed. Needless to say, I am more upset that they pretty much stole my daughter's birthday money.
