I received a letter in the mail that said my home warranty was expired. When I called Home Warranty Specialists, they said that it was required by my loan that I pay for their policy. When I asked to review the documents before paying, the agent said I had to pay first with some period to cancel. They were vague about what coverage I was going to receive and how I would get reimbursed in the case of an incident. The agent glazed over all the details and just wanted me to give my credit card information to them. When I called my loan servicer, they said that I am not required to have that warranty.
