To whomever this may concern,I am writing because of my concerns about my home warranty company and their claims department.I apply for home warranty with Home Safe warranty I believe in may of this year.Sometime in july I reached out to Home safe customer service about a claim with my appliances which they said to have a company come out do a assessment and give details of what was broken with the refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave.After making numerous calls to many different companies my wife finally got a license service provider to come out and as I was at work she asked him to go through the appliances and to document what was wrong with each appliance and what it would cost to fix it.She said the service guy unplug and plug back in the refrigerator check the ice machine and wrote that the ice machine was broken.He then proceed to check the microwave and said to her it was beyond repair then he open the dishwasher and stated the racks were broken without checking it.Fearing a confrontation with the guy who she stated was not very friendly,she paid him the $150 cash and he wrote on paper what was wrong.I sent in what I got to home safe and Armis the claims department and they said it was not enough information.I then explain to Home safe that it was near impossible to find a service provider and the guy we got did not evaluate the appliances right refuse to come back out. The night the service guy lefted the freezer part of the refrigerator stopped working.Home safe also stated that they help locate companies that would come out and evaluate appliances and after trying unsuccessfully 12 times they then understood what I was explaining to them which was,there are alot of companies that advertise online the service but when you call them it's either you have their product,buying their products or having them service your appliances.During the course of 4 months and numerous emails and calls weekly with the claims department Armis everytime I spoke to customer service I have gotten different answers even though I have emails and all calls are recorded.I customer service said because of the unique situation if I could sent them a picture of the old dishwasher in the wall still they will refund me.(I had to purchase the refrigerator dishwasher and stove through my credit card in July and sent the receipt thinking it would be covered) then when I call back a different customer service says something completely different.This has been going on weekly for 4 mths with numerous emails and recorded phone calls by Armis and every differentcustomerservicerepresentative telling me.something completely different.Three weeks before this email 11.11.22 a friend of mine asked his plumber from 3rd generation to come out and do a estimate while replacing the dishwasher they wrote on the invoice the cause which was pump failure on the dishwasher and I then sented it in to [email protected] and received a call back and email stating all they needed now was the company letter head phone number and address because half the page did not print out.(which I stoll have the emails)After resenting it again and thinking finally Armis would atleast cover the microwave and dishwasher,Armis customer service called me the next morning and first said they cannot cover the claim because the company did not pick up the phone and they could not find the company on listing and in my frustration after 4 mths of dealing with this I hung up so I could calm down before I called back.Two hours after I called back customer service and again was shocked by the answer from again another customer service representative stating now that they could not file the claim as there was not enough information.I then ask if this call and the other calls was recorded as I have heard different answers for each representative from the claims department and I was paying monthly for home warranty that does not cover anything.Can someone please investigate this matter.my customer number is H514893.Thank you
