A post card was received via mail to my wife and I's new home. We had purchased a legit Home Warranty during the buying process which is why this scared us. . I called the number listed on the post card and I immediately got a funny feeling, so I got off the call before any purchase was made. After calling my realtor, mortgage lender, etc. I knew it was a scam. The scammers called me back to try and get me to authorize the purchase of the 3 year home warranty with a monthly payment of $219 a month for the 3 year period. I declined the offer and then the scammer got rude with me. I simply told the no I will not authorize anything, and if any payment, etc. showed up out of my accounts to any suspicious vendors, I would be contacting proper authorities.
