On September 28 and 29, I do not really know the name of the so called breeder, but the number he was texting me from was a google voice number (678-786-9246). I was interested in a maltipoo (Cooper) on the website, because my daugther wanted him. So I submitted an email to him via the website. I got a return email, giving me information about Cooper, and that he was afraid to give Cooper to just anyone. So I reassured him that we are not that family, as we have someone who will be home with Cooper all the time, and I had plenty of children in the home to take care of Cooper. He sends me an email back stating he would move forward with the process and states that Cooper is $700. He stated that Cooper is fully potty trained, comes with 6 months of health certificate, and to move forward so that we are able to get Cooper immediately, he asked for the $700. So he said he accepted payments with CashApp or Zelle. I tried to use Cashapp, and I explained to him that the application would not let me send money so we would need to go through another avenue as Zelle was always the easiest of methods for me. So I added him to my Zelle, and because he was a new contact the maximum amount I was allowed to send was $500. So he said he wouldn't be able to give me a confirmation number until I pay the rest of the payment. So I was able to figure out another way and use my other bank account and sent $200 through Zelle from my other account. He then sends me the confirmation number and site to log into so that I can keep an eye on Coopers whereabouts and then be more at ease with the process as I had explained to him that I had never done this before, so I am not fully aware of the process. So I was able to use the site and use the confirmation code to see that Cooper was "on hold" in Houston, TX. The site he tells me to click on is: Track – INTER GLOBAL SHIPPING and the

tracking number is Igs07079549. If you click the site and use that tracking number it gives you details. So, I wait for another email stating that Cooper has been sent. I decided to move forward and not wait too long to buy some stuff for Cooper and we wanted to be prepared for him to be at our home and comfortable. So my son and I went to Petsmart and spent $175 on stuff for Cooper. Around 430 pm, I get a call from "global logistic" demanding to check my email as it is urgent for the dogs sake, and he quickly hangs up. (Mind you, it was pouring rain when he called, and I was driving back home and had no idea what he had really said other than to check my email). So, I quickly read through some things, not reading the whole email, I just read that the company needed more money because Cooper needed to be in a temperature type crate due to the weather conditions. I contacted the breeder and stated this, and he stated back to me that I needed to do what right for Cooper, as it is in his best interest to get the best crate. So I opted to get the more expensive one, which was $840. I used my Zelle account again to the email he provided which was [email protected]. The name was Immanuel White and to put in the memo: Urgent so that it was easily identifiable. He asks for screenshots of payment sent, so I submit everything requested. So, they get the $840, and I call to see why I haven't received an email regarding new confirmation of Cooper. I called global at 404-382-0953. Spoke to someone there, with a real heavy accent, in which I explained he needed to talk slower because I his accent was so strong, and he stated that because I didn't get the payment on time, that Cooper had missed his flight. So I was upset and asked why nobody decided to call me or to say something about his new arrangements, because now I am worried about Cooper and his well-being. He then explained that they were able to play with Cooper to keep him comfortable and that he was able to come out and not be crated as it would only make him not at ease with being the crate. He explained that they are working on trying to get him onto a new flight so that he would be at our doorstep for our children. I said okay please let me know as soon as anything changes. So he had originally told me that the dog should be on my doorstep by 11 pm, and now the dog wouldn't be shipped until 430 am and be on our doorstep by 7 am because that was the quickest flight out and with making arrangements to get Cooper to us safely. So I wake up at 6 am on 9/30, and notice I didn't get an email stating that Cooper was shipped, so I start to worry again, as I just kept telling myself that they are terrible communicators, and this is not the appropriate way to do business. 7 am comes and no Cooper. So I tried calling Global, and no one answers, it rings, then after several rings it goes to the busy tone. So I tried calling about 3 times, then I decide to try the breeder again. He doesn't answer, and then he texts me back about 2 minutes after I tried calling him and he texts that he was sorry he overslept, so I asked where is Cooper and asked if he had heard anything from Global? He said he was going to figure it out. So then at this point, my boyfriend gets more involved and says that he thinks I am being scammed. I was shocked, because I never even thought about being scammed. He explains to me that the breeder could have paid someone to post reviews, or he could have just made it all up. So I was in denial, and the breeder texts me back and says that he received an email stating that global was making arrangements to be boarded. So I asked, why are they responding to him and not to me? How was he contacting them and not wanting to answer me? He said to try to email them, because he tried calling and got no answer. So I emailed, them and still no answer. So then, all of a sudden I get an email from global, and NOW THEY ARE ASKING FOR MORE MONEY! Insurance for Cooper in case something happened to him by accident that I needed to send money for 1 of the 3 packages. Each one was different amounts, and so I told the breeder that if he was legitimate that he would pay for the insurance. One of the options in the 3 packages was for $2180, and if that amount was paid then you would get refunded in full once the dog made it safe to its destination. So I explained to him he could pay for it since it would be fully refunded as I now don't have any more money. I asked him to forward me that email that was from them and he then sends me a text. I asked him why would they text you!? And he said he copied and pasted the email. I explained to him that there were too many grammatical errors for a business to have sent something like that. And to send me the email that was sent to him. So I receive the email that had the same exact text in the email EXCEPT, it was from global. So then I put it together that he was GLOBAL, and that he made a mistake by sending me the same text through Gobal. I am not sure if that makes sense, it is something you would have to see, but I have all the texts and emails and so I am fully prepared to hand all that over if needed. I lost $1540, and because I used Zelle I am not sure I am even able to get it back now. Homemademaltipoos is a scam and I just need to make it aware.
These are all the things they gave me as contacts or information to give money:
For cash app: $SandraMandez which then said "Carey Nunu"
$BritneyHM for Britney Holmes
Zelle: [email protected]
[email protected] Immanuel White
Bitcoin: 1Dv5Pj3EsdXap3fuWmzWhgU19RwT2V7uNz
Please don't let this happen to anyone else. I am not sure how to get my money back as I have called my bank, and now because I had "trust" this or these individual(s) to send money to, my bank may not allow for me to get my money back. Even if the scam was trusted, they are good at what they do, because I trusted them and now lost out on money and have no puppy for my children.
