On April 17, 2020, It is not until after placing an order on a website named homeedesign, that the international (China) location was disclosed. The name of the company written in Chinese did not appear until after placing the order. I tried to contact the seller within 5 minutes of placing the order. I’ve made now a total of 5 attempts to contact the seller since 4/17/2020 at the same moment the order was placed. I have yet to receive a reply. A contact number with an 815 area code on the website appears to not be in service. At the number with a 551 area code on a section of the website labeled “returns and exchanges” a gentleman picked up who stated he has received a large amount of phone calls from people looking for this company; he explained that his number is the wrong number and that he has reported the multitude of phone calls for what appears to be an erroneous company to the police. He stated that the police advised him that this homeedesign company is scam. This company has no legitimate way to be contacted; furthermore, they only disclose that their location is in China after payment has been processed. If a transaction under my name has been processed with this company, I want it cancelled. I do not want anything shipped to me from China. I processed the payment for this transaction via PayPal. I’ve placed claims disputes with PayPal for my transaction to be cancelled as I cannot reach the company. PayPal has thus far declined to do cancel the payment.
This “homeedesign” company purports to be selling toilet paper and Kleenex hand towels; the advertisement was on a floating sign at the bottom of a target store website. I want the transaction canceled; however, no one has responded to my request.
