They basically got my resume off indeed. I applied on Glass Door for a remote position for this company. That was red flag #1. Then they asked me to respond to the job description with copy of my ID.
Then they continued to text me.
I asked for a W-2 from their company with company header.
They said no. Do I have one?
Then they sent me an ID.me link for another picture of my ID but with a snap shot of myself as well.
They manged to send me something that looked like it came from the actual company HomeLight.
It was called employee information sheet.
I filled it out with my S.S number. When I filled out this form they again ask me for a picture of my ID.
I asked for business card or some kind of company credentials. They couldn't produce it and responded No! At one point. Lol.
I then informed them the info I sent them was fake and I work for the government. I told them we are cracking down on employment schemes and I told them thanks for letting us know what their up to ;)
