This company sends a Homestead Designation Form asking for $49 to process the form. It doesn't mention as far as I can tell that this is free. This form if legal to send, should include basic information that a novice homeowner should be able to understand. I can guarantee they are collecting a lot of money from people show see the form and think it is something that have to do. I would like to participate and any class action law suits.

Received postage that requests a fee for homestead designation application. This seems like a phishing attempt/scam that attempts to collect a fee for an existing government service. This company has no affiliation with any government entity from what I’ve been able to find online.

I was mailed a letter form Homestead Designation Services to send a $49 check to after I moved into my home in preperation of my Homestead. I did and received another letter 4 months later to ask for $52 dollars more to record my Homestead for the official Document. I called the *** *** *** and I learned they do not ask for checks and no one qualifies until Jan.1st after they move into a home. So they will mail me an application in January and they will not ask for a check. I learned this is a fraud company. DO NOT RESPOND TO THESE LETTERS.
