I saw a wonderful pair of booties/shoes on a Facebook add and went to the website to have a look. There were many styles to choose from and they all were leather looking quality products. I ordered 2 pair of boots on October 8th, 2019 for $63.86. I should have realized that was too good to be true. After 3 weeks I still had not received my order. I emailed them and it took several days for them to reply that they were back logged getting the orders out because of the amazing response of orders. I emailed them that I did not want the items ordered and they should stop the order from being shipped and asked how I could get a refund. They did not respond to my question. The event I ordered them for had come and gone and I emailed them again. They stated they would email me as soon as the order was sent. They did not even acknowledge my request to cancel the order. On Nov 15 I got an email stating they had been sent and I could track the order. That is when I realized they were coming from China. That is when I knew this was a bad situation. On Nov 25th the product was delivered, 1 day shy of 7 weeks I waited for the order. The product was extremely cheap, not leather. It looked like a shoe you would get for your Barbie Doll. I was sick to my stomach. Of course I knew I had been scammed. Even at the price of $63.86, it was a rip off. These products looked nothing like the pictures on their website. I am waiting to hear from them regarding the return of my items for a refund. I can only attach 1 photo but I have a photo of the product advertised and I can't add it, just 1 of the products I received. The second pair of boots are no longer shown on their website because they must have sold out! This is a terrible product, I would not expect any human to wear them.

Honestystar has social media advertisements on Facebook, Instagram and other social media. They advertise comfortable women's shoes. Nothing is stated on their website as to the location of the company, approximate shipping time, and that refunds aren't available. Myself, and many others are victims of their fraud. They immediately receive your payment, and do not ship the item until something like a PayPal dispute is created. It took a month to receive my shoes, which bore nothing to what I had intended to order. Wrong size, wrong color, and horrible construction. There are no tags on these shoes as to sizing and material, and they arrive in a plastic bag with no paperwork via USPS. From others I have contacted with, we all received the same shoes regardless of what we ordered. When contacted for a refund, the company only offers apologies in broken English, stating they are in Hong Kong and it would cost the buyer $35 to ship them back. They offer a measly $3 or $6USD "gift card" on an item that costs $27.95. PayPal will do nothing to help recoup the cost since an item was actually shipped and received, so they are aware of this loophole with PayPal. This company is going by many different names with Honestystar being one of them.

To whom it may concern,

I ordered a pair of boots from honestystar, I saw the advertisement while playing a game on line. When I clicked on the website it directed me to Facebook. I used my debit card and my bank statement indicated the payment was made using PayPal. I contacted honestystar because I have not received the boots I order a month ago. They replied with two different explanations. There is not a phone # and the website has a foreign address. Be aware this site looks legitimate , but I’d fraudulent.
