Impersonated Honolulu sheriffs deputy. Claimed I missed jury duty scam. A warrant will be issued if I didn’t complete a multi step process. First took $6k out of the bank. Next he wanted me to go to an FDIC deposit location. Drive to the nearest one. Turned out to be a coinstar. Wanted me to select bitcoin/crytocurrency on the screen. That’s when I clearly knew it was a scam.

I was asked to stay on the phone the entire time, not to place him on mute, or tell anyone about what was happening. If I failed to do any of this, the warrants would be issued.

I’m really good at picking out scams. This guys was decently prepared. He called my mom first. Had my addresses and knew I moved lately.

I tried calling him out a few times and he stayed professional. Then he got real angry when I told him no to the crypto deposit and passed to another person as well that was very unprofessional.
