I was looking for vehicle to purchase. Someone recommended "Craigslist". I am not a fan of they site due to news stories/past negative history. I went against my better judgment and perused the site. I discovered a few cars and sent out e-mails of interest.
Below is the Craigslist address of the car (now adjusted and minus photos) as well as the response I received from the seller on May 5, 2016.
Web address:https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/5560254134.html
Response from seller:

The price was reduced at $2,000. I’m selling it so low due the fact that my medical team will deploy back to Afghanistan on May 20th for 1 year contract and its not worth keeping insurance and paying storage fees for 1 year so there’s no use on keeping it, therefore I need a fast and reliable buyer. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
Sincerely,
Senior Medic Sgt. Hope Madison"
I responded to "Senior Medic Sgt. Hope Madison" aforementioned response the to my initial e-mail. After a few correspondences, she/he shared that she was performing the transaction via eBay and that eBay would send instructions on how to pay for the vehicle. The situation went down hill from there; which included Visa One Vanilla cards.
What little trust I had in people is gone.
I am currently fighting to get my money back. Upon doing research with Visa (OneVanilla), they shared that two of the cards have been used (money withdrawn from the card via "Amazon.co/JP i.e. Japan.
I am very angry. I consider myself extremely detail oriented and did reform my due diligence.
I have been disgraced and I am ashamed.
