Yesterday (Feb. 17, 2016), in the Mountainbrook Development off of Burke Mill Road, in Winston-Salem, a black man on a hoverboard was cruising through the neighborhood attaching large orange bags to mailboxes, along with a yellow card to be filled out. It claims to be collecting items for Hope for Domestic Violence.

Before putting anything out for them to pick up, I decided to check on them to see if they are legit. I immediately hit on a news item on WGHP Fox 8 from August 2014, when they were using pink bags instead of the orange ones they are using now. The news item said to let the BBB know if your mailbox gets one of these bags attached. So, I'm letting you know .... they're back. If it is any help, they have asked that the bags be placed for pickup by 7:30 a.m. tomorrow morning (Feb. 19, 2016). So, evidently, they will be back in this neighborhood tomorrow.
