I was trying to purchase a puppy and they assured me everything was done right. I was told this puppy would come with AKC paperwork and VET history paperwork. I got the bill of sale done and was suppose to get this dog. I never received the dog and they kept calling me and wanting more and more money

I was searching for a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy online to purchase. I came across hopeland bernese mountain dog website on Google. I contacted the listed email address. I was sent pictures of a puppy. The narrative then played out that I paid a Samuel Mbiriri $800 for this puppy using Zelle with by bank using [email protected] as the username I sent the money to. He provided me a bill of sale. He sent me a tracking number to elitecargoshipping.com with tracking number TDMBFPPXWTT. I looked up elite cargo shipping on ScamPulse.com and there are several other puppy scam reports. The tracking information looks extremely odd. The next day I was sent an email requesting an additional $1500 for an electronically vented crate for climate control of the puppy. I received a call from them saying to check the email. I told them I felt this was a scam and to give me my money back. They quickly hung up.
