Applied to this video editing/ job and was led about a potential job at Horizon Media that was posted on. Indeed.com the scammers contacted me in hopes I would deposit a fraudulent check to send them money owed for equipment cost for the remote job they are hiring for.

Same just happened to me. I did an interview and then they wanted me to purchase software. I told them no way. They then said they will pre-load it on the computer and I just pay shipping. I told him no way. He called himself Robert Mike, Senior Recruiter at Horizon Media. I checked their directory and googled him and he is not anywhere including LInkedIn. I was originally contacted by this phone number 719-217-3804
