I received this text; HELLO thanks for your swift response, my name is DAVE i am the hiring manager ,
it a pleasure reading from you,
first of all Do you have a Personal Computer/Laptop and Printer for you to get this job Started ? From this number (803) 658-2757. I also received this application from email [email protected]. Once I receive the email, I felt like it was a scam. I never printed any checks but did order the paper. I asked for a business website and even asked why the email wasn't from an actual business our continued conversation just seemed more strange and I decided not to follow through with it. They also sent me these postage and check templates. If anyone knows how to investigate this please let me know. It definitely seems illegal.or scam in some way.

Cool the company name is HORIZON PAYROL SOLUTION INC. we are currently looking for a hard working individual to secure a position of payroll assistant for us from home and your duties is to always print out our company paid shipping labels and our payee checks then envelopes it
and drop them off at your nearest USPS offices, and you get 3000$ paid monthly base on any mode of payment of your choice
do you understand that? This was also the application.

i was sent a text message on my phone needing payroll services i filled out an application and this man name Kevin Roberts called me back i had to buy the items for work.. that was to make sure i really wanted to work he would reimburse me in my check at the end of the month.. I would print off checks and labels and send them where ever they would go to usps. or ups different names and a different bank accounts on each check that I would put into the folder that that he wanted I was supposed to get paid today on the 25th at by noon I was going to get paid $3,500 a month plus whatever I spent in the items and I had already ordered the checks twice already from Amazon all this is a scam it was a lie I never got paid had to buy more I have had to buy a printer and a another laptop because my laptop have messed up I had to buy more ink because he had me printing off so many checks yes this was hit me really hard I thought it was legit the way he had presented everything

Hiring at Home Payroll Specialists

I received a text stating they were looking to hire someone to process payroll checks. I asked for more info just to see what they had to say, although I’m pretty certain it’s a scam. And usually when I ask how would I get paid & if by check that I would need to be able to cash it at a check cashing place or where they do their banking that the check actual comes from because my bank is out of state, I never hear back from them. Attached is a screenshot of the text message received.

This person did end up texting me back & attached is the screenshot for the next text message. I still know it’s a scam. I’ve worked for a payroll company before & this is not proper procedure for this job considering the severity of the position & the need to protect the client. Especially when dealing with the confidential & legal standpoint in protecting the client’s banking & employee’s personal info as well as the integrity of the payroll company itself. The last text is the link to the company itself.

Hi, I am here to make people aware of this company’s business practices. This is not the only scam these people are doing they are also sending out checks for thousands od dollars to wrap your car for name bran companies. This company also pays thousands of dollars to do store review-they ask you to purchase specific pre-paid gift cards as well as money orders in large amounts using your bank to start the process of course once your bank has cashed the check you become responsible to cover these checks i order to not be arrested for felony fraud. Also to not have your account frozen, closed and put on a national data base for bad check writer.
