I just got a email which I pasted blow but I researched about it first and it was saying word for word exactly the same thing just different names. So just reporting it in case it is a scam. Good day,

I found a job post in Indeed.com offering a shopping verification position and I applied. They got back to me with an email saying I had been accepted for the position, this is when they sent an on boarding requirement to send a picture of your drivers license. Thankfully I did some research on the company and found a Reddit review warning about the scam. What they will do is put you to work for a month and then never pay you. They send a check that bounces back and the individual that fell for this ends up having to pay the $2900.

They reach promising a "Shipping Specialist" job. They take your information down, have you set up your dashboard, and then you can never log in. Any time you try to reach out, they'd have to check with their supervisor and call you back...except they never call you back. It's a constant cycle of calling them, promising a call back, never getting it, and wish, rinse, repeat. This is clearly just a scam to get your information and there is no real job.

Information about the scam was routed in tiktok. There are videos explaining how the scam works. the company promises to pay everymonth amounting to 2900. But they really dont pay it.

Horse Speed Logistics emailed me and asked me to reply if I would like to be a shopping/shipping package assistant. I thought the job was legit because I looked up the company website and it protruded to be a shopping and shipping company. how do I figure this is a scam they shipped me out a package to my address and the ring was fake, on the dashboard they provided me said that it would be a 19-cart jewelry. they had me fill out a w4 and fill out a form that had my address ( to mail me a check from payroll ) and my number they said that they can not do direct deposit because of identity or something like that. the accounting of the company emailed me and stated that I would get a check for 2,900 dollars plus a 20-dollar bonus for sending off that one package I just sent off the package this week.

and they are sending the check off in Dec. I need to know if I need to report this company to my local police off, to see if it's legit. I thought it was scammy because of the direct deposit and them sending that much money when I haven't done much to receive that much. I have to sign on to the dashboard daily 2 to 3 times.

Same as above scam. I decided to look it up on the ScamPulse.com and found that it is a scam. I did not apply or give them any information other than the initial email and phone number. BTW, Fiona talks fast for the purpose of hooking you, do not take the bait.
