Richard "Rick" Stevens has been going around the Marion County Florida community stating that he is a "non-profit" organization that is helping veterans connect with equine so they are both able recover together from past trauma. This individual is NOT a "non-profit" as he is not registered with the IRS as a "non-profit", nor has he registered with the Department of Agriculture to solicit donations. This individual has received well over $20k in donations and the entire community here in Ocala is under the impression this is a "non-profit organization".

If he'd like to follow the laws that make him a non-profit that would be great however, he has not done so since starting up this scam back in April 2023.
