I got a job through an interview through Google handouts and they sent a check and my bank told me that they had some fraud with that company and they would put a hold on the check. I told my person that was helping set up and she got mad that I dissing via ATM the check and I contacted my bank and they checked the check out and found at another back there was a fraud check there and that it sounded like a high probability of a fraud.

I was contacted by someone claiming to be a representative of Hospira about a recent application for employment. I was offered an online customer service job. She asked questions that sounded like an interview. I was then "HIRED" I was being sent a check for $4,000 to cover a laptop and supplies. I was then told to go to my personal bank and make a deposit via the ATM. She wanted me to send her a picture of the deposit slip to verify I had received it. The check was bogus. These people are only out to get your personal checking information. After contacting this person via e-mail, we proceeded with a three-hour long "interview" via Google Hangout. At the end of the interview, I was told I would be receiving a check in the mail to purchase "office supplies." I felt like it was shady from the beginning, but my curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to hear their whole spiel. I will not be cashing the check, if/when I receive it.

I was contacted by someone claiming to be a representative of Hospira about a recent application for employment. I was offered an online customer service job. I was then told to go to my personal bank and to purchase a cashier's check and email a copy to infosys.stephaniewills. I also received a FAKE check in the amount of $1900 for "office supplies" to complete my daily tasks as a online customer service rep. The check was bogus. These people are only out to get your personal checking information. I informed this Stephanie Wills person that I wanted to be removed from her "employee" list and I would be reporting herself as well as Hospira to the BBB. I have been called and harassed about sending a cashier's check to them.
