I had to book a hotel room (AmericInn Thief River Falls, MN). I googled this information to get a phone number and google provided a "Call (218) 293-3036" at the top of the google search. I called this number, booked a room with my credit card. Only to find out that I hadn't actually called the hotel, but a 3rd party booking site. They did not identify themselves except "Reservations - how can I help out?" I was billed $203 for a $123 room (with their added fees). Their service is very misleading and I thought I was talking to the AmericInn reservations line.

I know this mistake is largely on me for calling the wrong number. I did just finish completing a complaint to Google about providing the incorrect/misleading phone number. Very frustrating.
