The scammer contacted me on Gmail claiming to be Hot Topic and wanting to pay me to do influencer work. Everything seemed legit I signed a contract. I was told to send 50 dollars to cover shipping for the first set of items I was to recieve. However, they asked for a different amount then on the contract. Once I felt skeptical I called the official hot topic number and they claim this email was not theirs and to not send any money.
