I had a rover notification and was told to email someone’s aunt about them needing someone to house/ dog sit for them. I emailed them and they told me their whole life story and how they plan to move to my area and they asked for my full address and full name and phone number and unfortunately, I gave them the info and I’m scared that I’m at risk of having my personal information broken into. I also saw a notification on rover that the profile that messaged me in regards of emailing their aunt was flagged for suspicious activity but me not knowing how rover works, I disregarded it now. I’m hoping there’s a way I can still keep my information safe. As of now I blocked this person’s contact and will not be keeping in touch with them.
