(https://houstonfloorsandremodeling.com). I submitted their form Free On-Site Estimate for flooring. Christian Bennet called and told he is the sales person and will come home check and give an estimate. He came
home and gave an estimate then I negotiated and approved the estimate. Immediately he told he needs 60% advance by check or cash to schedule the crew to start project, I refused to pay and told need 2
days time, he didnt listen I am on the way to your home to collect the check. I agreed and he came home and collected the check. The check I gave bounced as there was insufficient funds then he came home
and started demanding cash immediately, we got scared and paid him $6800 cash by going to nearest bank of America bank and withdraw money.
Then he did not send any crew to start the project for a week, after that we started asking for refund, then he sent 2 subcontractor to start the project and moved some furniture and ripped the carpet. After
that he called the subcontractor and lied to them that I have cancelled the project, and asked them to leave the place and did not pay them as well. My house is in a big mess currently and non livable. Then he
stopped responding to calls and texts. Our house is in non livable condition, my employment at risk as I am unable to go to work, my family is having allergies.
He does not have a office address, In the Estimate he has added a fake address, he does not have any employees in this company as he mentioned.
He is purely scamming customers by taking advance and not completing the project nor paying the subcontractors. There are more than 5 customers in the same situation who have
posted on Facebook similar issue. This company is a fraud company and cheating customers by taking advance amount and not doing the work. Need help in getting a refund and also he need to stop scamming the
customers. We have enough details to prove this.
