Scammer offered remote administrative assistant position. Scammer made contact on 04/19, phone call interview on 04/10, and was hired on 04/11. Scammer requested full name, social security, driver license number, phone number, address, email, and phone number. Scammer received all said information. Scammer sent echeck from “accounting department” for a total of $4,750.00 USD. $220 was deposited into bank account on 04/16. Entire amount was withdrawn from bank account. Bank email was received stating check was returned for forgery. After numerous messages for confirmation of employment/ confirmation, no response was given.

this scammer introduced himself as Gordon Conwell - the hiring manager for Allegion Workspace. Advised that the pay rate was $25 an hour for a full time position.

"kindly affirm if you are interested in this type of job offer"
