Your information has been forwarded to one of our Hiring Staff (Mrs. Melissa Pickett) through Zoom meeting app"
I was advised to download Zoom to schedule an interview with "Ms. Pickett". I shared a few messages with Ms. Pickett and noticed they were minor grammar errors. The "interview" which was scheduled for 10 AM, did not begin until 10:30 AM after I sent a follow up message to Ms. Pickett. At that time, I was sent this message: "About the method of the interview .. Note: It would have been done via Call but the Zoom messaging would be convenient and Easier due to large details that would be shared, You don't need to be uncomfortable with the means of communication.. Okay?"
I figured then, it was a scam. The interview was done through Zoom chat opposed to the video interview. I continued with the interviewer's presentation just because and asked for contact info (email and phone number) and was denied this information. I asked the interviewer through
what platform did they receive my resume, and thankfully they told me it was CareerBuilder. Ultimately, I informed the "interviewer" that I did not think this was a legitimate job offer and they should refrain from contacting me. Shortly after, "Melissa Pickett" removed her profile picture from her Zoom Account.
Do NOT use the CareerBuilder website. It seems that the information shared there is sent to third parties or can be easily accessed by scammers for things such as this. Furthermore, Piedmont Healthcare has an entire portal system used for their available jobs. I do not believe they would contact anyone in this manner.
