They’re hr department called me several times about a shipping analyst position. We talked about what the base pay was and about bonuses. I had to get a dashboard approved. They gave me a w-4 form to fill out. I have worked for them for a month and was supposed to get paid today and when I did call I was told it would be deposited by five. I was also locked out of my dashboard and told my shipping manager and after he started like he was trying to fix the issue he hung up and never called back or responded to my messages. Before this I was offered another position with the company to be a purchasing agent. They sent me the offer via email and I asked for a couple of hours to think about it. It didn’t feel right so I told her that I wanted to wait until I received my first paycheck before I accepted the offered just in case this was a scam. She never emailed me back. Fake portal offering me money at the end of the month I’m stating on March 5 I would get paid. I unfortunately gave my bank account information my routing number and my checking account number. Second, They set me up with a portal dashboard with all my personal information on it.

Third, They received all my identification and card information.

Also, I shipped packages for a month because they said it was my probation period, never received my first payment at all.

I am the Supervisor specifically assigned to Incoming Packages - packages that will be delivered to you for inspection.

To guide you initially, below are the bullet type procedure for a better performance of the given job summary:

1- Log into your dashboard at least 3 times everyday, Mon- Fri.

2- Report the packages AS SOON as they arrive and post the pictures (latest within 3 hours from the delivery time)

*Photos to Upload :

Product/Item - The item inside of the package. You are allowed to open the carrier's box but NOT the manufacturer's box. Upload it to the Item photo section.

Invoice - The paper inside the package (Optional) ( You may keep/throw after taking picture). Upload to the packing list photo section. Take note; There are packages that don't have an invoice, so instead, take a photo of the package details found outside your box.

3- Send out packages on the very SAME day that the outgoing shipping label is provided and ask for the receipt.

*Photo to Upload:

Receipt- The paper the shipping center gives you after you send out the package, Upload to the receipt photo section.

Once you have your login details on the dashboard, you may proceed to the HELP section for more detailed information. Lastly, your 1st package should be delivered within 2-3 days.

Please make time to read all important notes as this is your guide on how to do your tasks.

KINDLY READ: Important Notes

* Attached here is the Manual. Kindly download the document. It will illustrate you every step you need to take to process packages properly. Please find time to review it.

* Changing of Address is prohibited for the first 30 days to confirm security of packages. You can request changing of address when you are no longer in Probationary Period.

* For future reference, this is how we deal with packages missing:

1. double check this pack with your family members, they might have received the pack

2. double check this pack around your house ( porch, outside the door, trash bins outside, mailbox)

3. double check this pack with your nearest neighbors. It happens sometimes that the delivery man brought the pack in your neighbor's doorsteps. This happened before on one of our employees. If there is a need to mention the name of the customer of the pack, please do so.

4. if still not found, call carrier and report a claim on the missing pack so an investigation will be initiated.

* PLEASE do not open the Manufacturer's box or Device box. You are allowed though to open just the brown carrier's box.

* Steps on how to upload pictures correctly in your Dashboard:

1. Make sure " Task Accepted" and " Received" is clicked.

2. Click " Photo" to upload picture of the product. Click " Packing List" to upload invoice.

3. Go to Select Files.

4. Select the picture and click Open.

5. Wait till the loading bar turns 100%.

6. Reload the page and double check if the photo is still there.

Note: If you're getting an error or if your photo doesn't show in your dashboard, edit your photo so that picture size will be smaller. If possible, use mobile phone to take pictures as they come in small size.

Reload the page then and re upload the photo.

* Remove Invoice or Packing list from the package after taking pictures to avoid double taxation.

* If you receive a package not showing in the dashboard, please report it as an Unknown Package.

Refer to the following steps:

1) Go to Packages.

2) Click on REPORT UNKNOWN PACKAGE button

3) Enter all the information of the package.

4) Click Save.

* If you will be on leave, kindly follow 1 week notice. Provide us ahead your scheduled leave for approval.

* For resignation cases, please notify us in advance so we can process your clearance from the company and so we can stop sending packages to be inspected.

Hi,

Just to inform you that 80% of the packages will be delivered to your home and 20% will be picked up to a designated post office. Will let you know if the package is for pick up and is ready for pick up.

Why do we have packages for pick up?

Answer: These are packages that you need to pick up on some pick up locations near your area. (Our customers don’t want to jeopardize their packages. On the delivery trucks because first, they are valuable, and second, they are fragile.)

Do I need to pick up the package immediately?

Answer: YES! Once the package is available for pick up make sure to do it quickly to qualify for the bonus.

How much is the Bonus?

Answer: $100 will be given to every package for pick up.

The $100 did not reflect on my top up. What should I do?

Answer:

For VIP Bonuses and reimbursements it will not show on your dashboard 3 days prior to your pay day as the bonuses and reimbursements are being updated manually by our accounting department. But to know how much you have, you may send a request to the accounting department [email protected] and they will send you a total of how much you earn from VIP packages.

Do I need to pay for the package?

Answer: NO! The package is already paid.

What are the requirements for pick up?

Answer: Government issued ID, reference number and printed Authorization Letter

Once the package is ready for pick up, and if the package is not named under your name, I will send you the authorization letter via email. If the package is named under you, you may proceed to the pick up location which I will also provide.

HOW TO PROCESS PICK UP PACKAGES:

1)Go to the front desk and give your reference number, ready your ID and authorization letter

2)Once you already have the package make sure to inform your supervisor

3)proceed with the reporting on your dashboard. ( Post pics of the item and invoice)

If you can give me a call back at (952) 866-0343.” But in January it was a man named Felipe Hernandez, saying the exact same thing when he left a voicemail. Janine also has been leaving emails saying “ Good day!

This is Janine Ward calling about your job interview for the Shipment Analyst position for HRS Shipping . We are excited to check if you are fit for the role. This is definitely a package mule business. They most likely start with cheap items to see if you'll fall for it, which I did. After 2 pieces of jewelry likely valued under $10, the next item I got was a meta quest 3. Really not sure what to do at this point now.

I previously got the same call and went through the whole hiring process I got as far as delivering the first package back I was gullible I didn’t really look deep into it and then I finally did try to do the research on this company I couldn’t find anything then I searched names and found this website and I’m glad I did

I had gotten a call from a scam likely from a job offer I had seen posted online. I had accepted it not knowing it was a scam but as I unfolded into giving my bank details for direct deposit and was sent videos on how to perform the duties of the job, I realized from the layout of how I would contact the managers as well as how the numbers they called me from were labeled as scam likely on my iPhone. I even got to the package that arrived at my house and did all the details they had asked me for. I called my girlfriend because I knew just from the sound of it that I was getting scammed. I provided them with my personal details like social security and my address as well as a picture of my ID. Do not trust them I’m glad I didn’t go deeper into it I have one of their packages with me and I don’t know what to do with it.

Job offer to be a shipping Analyst. Part time. 10-15 hrs a week. Base pay $3000 with a $45 bonus for each package accurately forwarded on through UPS, USPS, FEDEX, DHS. $100 bonus for any package picked up from an associate Store and forwarded on. Log into the shipping tracker each day and at least 3 times a day. When a package posts to your tracker accept package. When it arrives a your house check that it arrived. Open, inspect, verify order is accurate. Remove all package lists, shipping labels, take pictures, upload pictures to shipping tracker. Print off new shipping label. Repackage, and drop off at delivery service. Get receipt and upload all pictures and receipts to shipping tracker. Paid monthly. I received communication from Shipping manager, Human Resource, Accounting, shipping supervisor. I received a request to fill out a W4 via email. I did send my drivers license initially but I did not fill out a W4 before realizing it was a scam.

I was spoken to by a "representative" that introduced himself as "Felipe hernandez" who began to give me an overview of the job duties corresponding to that of what they called "Shipping analyst" position. After this brief "overview", which he called an "interview", I was then prompted to fill out several "employment forms" which asked for my name, date of birth, home address, and a picture of me holding my photo I.D next to my face. They asked that i cover the last few digits of my the identification numbers located on my I.D card. Less than 24 hours later i received a confirmation email to this effect:

"Hi Deandres Perez,

I hope this message finds you well. We are the shipping team and we are pleased to inform you that we will be serving as your support effective immediately. Please find my contact information below for your reference:

This email was followed up by a phone call from the so-called "direct supervisor" ("Fred"). The call was essentially a rehashing of the job details that ended with a congratulations and a rough start time for employment (as soon as 24 hours).

The final email received after the last call had been terminated was this:

"Dear Deandres,
