I received a text message with an assignment. It said I would be receiving a package the next day with my assignment details in it. The next day I received a Priority Mail package with a check and a half piece of paper instructing me to deposit the check and use it to purchase a significant amount of iTunes gift cards and I am suppose to scratch the codes and send them pictures of the front and backs of them and wait for the next set of instructions. About 15 minutes after receiving the package I got an email letting me know I received my package and it had the instructions again. It asked me if I could respond to them via text if I would be willing to do more assignments for them. I knew from the get go this was a scam because the address on the check if different from the one on the return address and the return address is a hotel in Oklahoma City, OK and the instructions are on a half piece of paper.

I received a letter and check from HS Brands International.I was told to deposit the check into my account and wait 24 to 48 hours. Withdraw 2800 in 2 days and send 1400 to 2 different people. I will be given the names after I return a text message. The return address on the envelope is for Buy Buy Baby, the address on the check is for a Construction Company in Las Vegas. I took everything to the local police and they advised me to report it to BBB. I am now receiving text messages from a person. He says he is with HS Brands. I called the company located at the address on the envelope and was told that they have received over 2000 calls concerning this. I have copies of everything that was sent me in the mail.
