I got a call on my wife's phone from a company(1-888-824-0311) claiming that I owed a credit card company $3,497.38 and I had to pay before midnight or I was going to be taken to court. they didn't give name or the credit card company he just said I had to pay HSBC, when I looked this company up I called them and they said they get calls all the time from people telling them the same story. I was told I had to come to some sort of decision on paying in full or $2,500 before midnight. I was also told they have mailed me several letters to my address and asked what address they had was correct and I said but the lie came in because we have only been at this address for 2 weeks we just moved here. when my wife called the man back he was very rude to and would not give her more information and I would just have wait to go to court and was yelling at her and cursing.

This company has been calling myself and my family for 5 years claiming a lawsuit based on collections. I have contacted HSBC numerous times and spoke to different departments, including their archives department. They have no record of me. I have also given my personal home info for them to serve me with papers. I’ve yet to receive a summons. When I explain to the collections department what I’ve done, they get belligerent, rude or hang up. Can something be done. We’re all tired of these harassing, fraudulent calls

I received a call that I’m being sued by HSBC -Mastercard for $644.00 for a credit card in 2011. I did not have this account they say they are going to freeze my bank account & be sued. They had my social security number & my address. When I call the number back it said they were NTG Services. 1-844-296-5592

Caller stated they were from a financial institution bank (HSBC) collecting on an old debt, but could NOT tell me the dates or what the loan was for. Caller even recited the last 4 digits of my Social Security number. Scammer stated I needed to take care of this debt. I told the scammer I have never had an account or a loan with HSBC. Scammer was persistent that I settle the debt and proceeded to threaten to put a loan on my vehicles and they would be sending a certified letter arriving today. Yes, the scammer even knew what vehicles my family currently owns. Scammer gave me a phone number (Bean Station, TN) and a reference number attempting to be real legitimate. We proceeded to call the corporate offices of HSBC, and as suspected, I have never had an account with HSBC in my life. Woman from HSBC called with number with me on speakerphone, scammer hung up when she told him SHE was from HSBC and reporting to authorities.
