My intention was to book directly with Best Western. I realized my mistake when they began requesting too much unnecessary information. I did not complete the reservation but they already had my credit card number and charged me before I was able to call the credit card company. They only offered me a refund of $230. When I did call the hotel directly, the room charges were half what the scam company was charging.
