I signed up for my vehicle to be wrapped up in decals for huawei telecommunications. They sent me a check for $1690.00 a fee weeks later, along with an email telling me to deposit the check right away, and to keep $300 for myself for the first months payment, and to wire the rest to this guy -

I then received a text from this number 502-233-2147 asking if I received the check, and if I could deposit it today. I checked online to see if it was a scam, and it was, so this is what I sent in return.

Everything I'm seeing online says this is a scam. I shouldn't be handling your money to pay your guy, that's your responsibility. I'm tearing up this check now. If you want me to participate, please notify your guy to come to me with the decals and a $300 check, if not, have a good day.

They responded saying it wasn't a scam, and if I didn't deposit the check today, they would cancel it, so I tore up the check and sent them a picture of it. I told them I was reporting them, and haven't heard from them since.
