The Scammer claims to be a contractor. I contracted him to install a new siding on my house on 10/18/2022. He asked for $7,000.00 deposit up front. I gave him $3,000.00 up front that day and he removed some old siding from the back of my house. Then he asked for more money for the materials and said he'll be back on Monday. I gave him another $3,000.00 in cash on 10/20/2022 and I asked for a reciept but he said his secretary was away but when she came back he would give me a receipt. He never came back to start the work and made excuses from there on out as to why he could not finish the work. I went to the town to check and see if he had made a permit for the work ans I found that he did not.
