On Friday May 5th this company came door to door stating they were plumbers for Nicor Gas. They stated 2 years ago when our gas lines were replaced some sewer lines were damaged and they needed to run a camera in the lines to determine if we were affected. Some fell for it, others did not. We contacted Nicor Gas as well as Northern Pipeline, the company who did the work, and both stated no, they are not doing this. Both Nicor and Northern Pipeline explained the sewer lines were checked at the time the work was done and if there were any problems they were corrected then. They also stated if there was a problem they missed it would have presented itself sooner than this.

A report was filed with the Village.

Also, the questions below are not representative of all affected...age groups are 30-80 yrs old, males and females. I as well as others in my block were victimized.
